Ecology, Capitalism, and Democracy

Hosted at the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary, the 2025 Summer University brought together world-leading thinkers and emerging scholars to discuss issues of contemporary importance: ecology, capitalism, and democracy.

This project is co-funded by the Open Society Foundations, the Center for Transcultural Studies (Chicago & New York, USA), and the Center for Global Culture and Communication / Buffett Institute of Global Affairs (Northwestern University, Evanston, USA).
